Facilities
Grace and St. Peter’s School, located next to a distinctive church whose parish dates from 1802, occupies three buildings, including two historic brownstones that seclude our tree-lined playgrounds from Park Avenue’s bustle. Within these walls, children are actively involved in academic learning, science investigation, art and music appreciation and performance, technology exploration and application, and the “childhood business of play.” A midday meal is prepared and served within our facilities.
We are a dynamic school in the cultural heart of the city, where students learn both within and beyond our classroom walls. By walking just a few short blocks, our students can delight in a downtown parade, have “lunch with the elephants” at Lexington Market, explore the Walters Art Museum, or enjoy a performance of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Weekly trips to the Enoch Pratt Free Library, which students think of as their very own, also enrich their education.
